Wildlife

Bear chasing pray Penguin walkin' around duck swimming

What the Category is about

The wildlife category shows animals living freely in their homes. These photos can capture exciting moments like a bear chasing its prey, penguins waddling on the ice, or ducks swimming across the water. Wildlife photography brings us closer to natures animals we don't always get to see up close. It reminds us how important it is to protect our world and the animals that we live alongside. Photographers work hard to be patient and respectful, capturing these moments without disturbing the animals.

Still Life

What the Category is about

The still life category is about making everyday objects shine through photos. Pictures like fruits, glassware, flowers, and acorns show how simple things can become works of art when photographed the right way. Good still life photos use different camera techniques to show a different side of an object that has not been seen before. Photographers often set up their scenes to make even the simplest object look interesting. Still life photography gives you the chance to be creative and focus on the small details that are easy to miss.

Nature

What the Category is about

The nature category focuses on capturing the beauty of the outdoors. This includes everything from trees, flowers, and rivers to mountains, sunsets, and even the sky. Nature photography lets us appreciate all the different views around us, whether it’s a peaceful forest or a sunset. These photos help people see parts of the world they might not be able to experience in person. A good nature photo makes you feel something. It's about showing how beautiful the earth really is. You don’t have to go far to take a great nature shot, it may just be in your backyard.
